it crashes down

i was never born with superb brains
nor was i born with superb looks

i took with me a part of my dad
and a part of my mom

i lived a happy life, where smiles were like air
flying kites and washing cars

sometimes i get scared at night
i hugs my bolster real tight

i kept my eyes closed
so i won’t see any hungry ghosts around

i went to the best kindergarten my parents could get me into
i excelled and life was fun

i got into the best school my parents could find
i dropped since standard 4

i’m a very hands on girl
i like to try something new

i’m not a very bright girl
i’m very sure you knew

my childhood was perfect
i could not ask for more

i never loved exams
nor do i love tests

the best day would be one
where all i did was read

horror stories and romantic movies
mitch albom and his fantastic stories

all that mattered was things that make me happy

i have a temper
a really bad one

i’ve had my hair short for the longest time
it suits my height of 4ft 9

if you think that by now
you would have known me
i guess you might just be right

but people change
sometimes overnight
