le update

gosh so many things have been going on and all of a sudden there goes one month with no updates
i feel like natalie tran, she keep promising to do stuff that she never does anyway
liar!!! unsubscribed to her btw, got sick of empty promises

so anyway back to stuff that happened, well recently i witnessed a fire, yea a fire, no big deal
except electrical cables were on fire and they were active,
and except that it was just a few blocks away from my office

here’s the video, credits to my landlords son who manage to capture this
their whole family got there earlier and i was almost the last one to get there

the fire department and the electrical company put the fire out eventually and everything is ok
i learnt that people actually burn cables like this so the plastic melts away and they steal the actual cable minus the plastic cover
interesting!!!

 

so that happened one day after deepavali
and i decorated my room again last sunday
here is how it looks like, added one furniture, new curtains. etc etc…

the new set of drawers picked out by both yi and i

inside the first drawer, tiniest collection of cheap perfumes and nail polish, my make up bag etc etc….

yi’s fabrics for arts and craft and my chunky bangles and twinings tea i got for yi

this is how we used to hang our accessories, now its on the wall next to a mirror i just got a while ago

now it looks like this and the hooks at the cupboard door is filled with bracelets and so on…

below the mirror is a shelf filled with food, dry stuff and emergency toilet rolls

and the shelf is next to my bed.

speaking of food, after 22 years, i got “compliments” on how fat i’ve gotten
i consider that a complimennt just cause i’ve been “too skinny” for too long, now i have a tummy
might keep it there for a few more months, hah!!!

i got myself a new camera, compact of course
since i was a little girl till now, i’ve always used my family’s camera, depending on what it was
from kodak camera to konica camera to nikon camera

so my youngest sister ran away a while ago and took the nikon which is the family camera
and now we have no camera except those awesome photography apps you can get on the android market

so i got this compact sony camera
in red, which does not disappoint at all, almost wanted the pink but saw the red and i changed my mind

 

and i have been obsessing over cheap perfumes, just cause as a kid i only used enchanteur deodorants
because my dad was a distributor of enchanteur and i could get it cheap

this was the peak of it and i even kept the boxes then

guess i am a cheapo at heart, and i know that buying this and using them can be dangerous but i’m young, all i care about is how i smell now!!

and yes i have a few favorites and a few disappointments

i’m definitely going to get the original of the ones i love just cause the fake one smells so awesome, i can only imagine how the real one smells like

 

and lastly, i got demi lovato’s unbroken cd
songs are awesome
been listening to it for 4 weeks straight and still not sick of it

thats it for now, will keep updating as much as i can
